As you will all gradually, no doubt, find out I am a huge nature nut and a Bushcraft enthusiast. I do have a Bushcraft Blog but that's not the aim of this journal. I would like to ask anyone who can help to sign this petition here: http://www.38degrees.org.uk/page/s/save-our-forests#petition
Long story short, the British government is planing to sell off huge chunks of our precious woodlands. There's little enough as it is in this country without losing national treasures like the Forest of Dean. Once they're gone they wont come back. I for one don't want my future children looking up at me and asking "Daddy, what were forests?"
